Health Walk staring from the Sports Centre. Led by Gary and Anthony, who is a student from Runshaw College on Work Experience, the Group set off from the leisure centre at just after 10am. Jacqueline, June, Mary, Helen, Carole and Jim were looking forward to today's walk on a beautiful summer morning.
We turned left at the entrance to the park and walked past The House on the hill, following the path down to the gate and across the field towards the lake.

Our walk went past the lake, over the stream and up the path to the right,
through the woods and back onto the main path with Sue Ryder House (Cuerden Hall) across the field on the right. We followed various paths and then around the lake
and back to the Centre where the walkers enjoyed refreshments and a good chat. The walk took just over an hour.
