Health Walk
- Tuesday Morning 18th October
- Well we didn't hold out much hope for the walk to take place but eight of us turned up and there would have been more but for misunderstandings.
We set off in the dry to Manor Road, eventually into into Wood Green Road, along Juniper Croft and then into the Park. We made our way through the fields

01s
in glorious sunshine, we'd just weathered a rain squall here. (I had not brought my camera so these photos are on my very old mobile phone)
We joined the cycle track, after we'd crossed the river, over the renovated footbridge, and made our way towards Old Kem Mill.

02s
We re-crossed the river at the Old Kem Mill footbridge, this is looking upstream from the footbridge bridge, and climbed up the hill, here we got caught

03s
in another rain squall but we made the woods and returned past the two duck ponds that Helen had promised to show us.
Debra's husband, who had been trying to catch up with us, he'd had to miss the start, joined us at the Sports Centre for our usual tea/coffee and biscuits.
We all agreed that the walk had been enjoyable and was something we may not have done had we not been part of the Health Walking Group.
