Health Walk

Tuesday 13th March - Gareth was in energetic form when he led today's Health Walk from the Sports Centre, he'd skipped the gym first thing, so we had a longer walk than of late.  There were eight of us plus Gareth.

I guess you've got used to my many 'reflections' photos - these are round the pond in Cock Cabin Wood

Walking along the cycle track alongside Cock Cabin Wood towards the motorway bridge there are catkins, these have been out for while now, the blackthorn blossom and, on the left of Photo 8, you can see the coppicing referred to into the Spring Newsletter.

We're about to enter the Cinder Path along which I spotted this, to me, unusual growth of moss?

We paused for a short rest across from the Hall

Round the front of the Hall and into the Pinetum where the infamous Rhododendrons are in bloom.  Then down the path to the New Bridge

Another rest after the steep climb through the field towards Cam Lane, a damaged tree on Cam Lane? and back to the Sports Centre for our tea/coffee and biscuits
