Health Walk

Tuesday 14th August -  Nice morning, warm and some sun - only seven of us, including Gareth, set off from the Sports Centre.

Now passing over the Stone Bridge again for the second time on our way back, I thought this rock looked like a beaver or was it an otter

We've arrived at the 'cow field'.  Most of our group are not keen on cows.  Gareth's gone up the hill to the left to see if there's a way over the hill away from the cows - see map.  I took the dotted line straight through the cows, the others took the 'high' road - full line on map.

My purpose was to show them that if you were unafraid of them and didn't upset them they would leave you alone.  They left me alone and a couple got up and moved away from me.  The others weren't impressed, it turned out that I was in disgrace because they thought I might cause the cows to move over to them.

Today's walk - another short walk
