Tuesday 9th October - Sunshine again.! No rain! Still not a balmy autumn day though. A bit nippy but just right for walking.
Fourteen! plus Gareth today who led us off into the Park -

and along Cam Lane, down Sheephill and into the Park at the bottom of the hill.

A couple of weeks ago the river was a raging torrent, now almost a babbling brook but for how long?

We've reached the crossroads, what should we do? Right and home or as it is such a nice day press on a little - yes and over the Stone Bridge and up the hill into the woods.

Resting by the Lake and walking along the meadow - only one set of steps left.
Back to the Sports Centre where one of us was bold enough to insist that we had a better room to have our tea and biscuits. At least it was cool but the main hall was noisy as first.

On the last Thursday Walk there were rumblings that we should move the Tuesday Walks to the Barn because of the Sports Centre lack of facilities!
