Health Walk

Tuesday 23rd October -  No walk today from the Sports Centre .  Fourteen of us turned up at the Town Brow car park.  Fairly warm but overcast, we occasionally saw the sun through the clouds.  There were patches of blue sky but they never allowed the sun through for us.

We left the car park and walked a little way up Sheep Hill and entered the park.  Here Sue decided she wasn't up to walking any further, she had no energy left so she went back to the car to await our return.

Alongside the Quarry dropping down to Town Brow.  At Town Brow we had a choice of paths to the Picnic Area.  We split up into those that would walk along the road and those that would cross the river by the stepping stones but we found the gate back into the Park was padlocked so we all walked round the road to the Picnic Area.

Sue, now refreshed organising our 'picnic'.  Linda had baked a delicious cake and Helen had baked our delicious first mince pies of the coming season.
