Health Walk

Tuesday 6th November -  Starting at the Sports Centre, eleven of us plus Gareth set out.  Fairly warm again after the last couple of cold days but overcast, will it rain?

Gareth led off purposely and we entered the Park from the Sports Centre/ASDA car park turning left and up on to Cam Lane.  We strolled past the Ponderosa and down to the southern end of the lake.

The trees are still very colourful but oh for a little sunshine for them to sparkle - I've been elsewhere when the sun has been shining.

We walked south along the cycle track to the road.  We had a little rest before we crossed the road and carried on up Back Lane.  The rain started for the remainder of the walk as we continued along Wood End Road and back to the Sports Centre,

where we slummed it as usual in the top corridor for our tea/coffee and biscuits we're too old to be dragging heavy furniture around.
