Thursday 29th November -  Starting from the Barn, eleven wrapped up souls headed for the Cinder Path.  Brian decided we'd keep to the better paths for safety as it was still rather frosty but the sun was shining, much to our delight, at last a few sunny photographs!

St. Saviours Church spire - how many times have I told you that's were I was christened seventy-four years ago?

I remember watching these pylons being wired up some time before they started work on the M65, you could follow the track in photo 1 up into what is now a restricted area, the nature reserve alongside Cock Cabin Wood.   This was the route the gentry used to go to church. The Track continued from were it emerged on to the cycle track, across the field, straight up to the front of the Hall.
