Health Walk

Tuesday 12th February
Walking from the Sports Centre today, we were nine, including a new walker, Lin, plus Gareth. It was a lovely morning with the occasional flashes of sunshine.

We entered the Park, turning left and climbed up to Cam Lane. We crossed Cam Lane and entered the Cow Field.

We walked up into the Pinetum and paused for our first rest at the top where some of us were interested by the gentleman and his two dogs. Gareth and Peter posed for the camera.

Down and over the Stone Bridge and up the short steps to the Lake where we enjoyed the ducks, Peter sacrificed his emergency rations to feed them. Everyone always says "I meant to bring some food for the ducks" - one day we will.

Walking up the steps away from the Lake towards Hawks Clough and back to the Sports Centre.

At last we're back in a room of our own - serious complaints by two of our walkers have at last achieved the desired result!
