Tuesday 19th February

Walking from the Sports Centre again today, we were ten, including another new walker plus Gareth.  It was a lovely morning with brilliant sunshine.

We entered the Park, Green Wood, turning left and climbed up to Cam Lane.  Walking along Cam Lane and past the Ponderosa the trees parted to open up a view of the Hall.

We're walking down towards the Lake but we kept on the path down to the entrance to Dog Kennel Wood.  You can see the new plantation in the second photo.

Down and over the Stone Bridge and up the short steps to the Lake.  Is spring just round the corner?

We rested on the seat at the top of the steps, we all stepped away to try and embarrass Peter with Gareth's friend, lovely smiles, then round the Lake, which had a thin layer of ice on it, and back to the Sports Centre.

We were disappointed to find that we were back on the top corridor but we were assured that this was just for this week as it was 'half term'.
