The 3rd Frostbite Sunday

Sunday 30th October 2011 - Glasson Sailing Club

Owen was OOD for the day, thank you.  Owen has supplied me with the times and attached are the results and updated table

Owen writes:

“ . . .  No sign of any "frostbite" on Sunday, light winds with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the mid teens.  Martin Lord actually sailed in a pair of shorts and a dress shirt!

Anyway it all went OK largely thanks to the instructions on the tape player.

Anthony & Kath – YWDB; Ian & Barbara Sharples – GP14; Martin Lord & Martin Ward – GP14; John Glynn – Bosun, Naval Destroyer and Steve Tomkinson – Mirror.

On the flood we had a 2 lap race C - H - T - 18 - T ,

Steve did not finish.

The wind dropped at high tide and we changed the course C - H - T over 1 lap

Steve and Anthony didn't start and there were crew changes amongst the remaining 3 as follows

The Series Points Table may be confusing.  We only count your best 55% of the races won, which in effect means half plus 1.  So as six races have taken place so far only your best four races are added up to make the total points.
