2005 Mersey River Festival - lots of pictures   Tuesday 31st May to Saturday 18th June 2005 - this is just a lot of pictures and a few words, not actually about the festival but just the boats that went and returned. Please, if you have anything to contribute to improve this archive please get in touch Michael Swarbrick

2005 Single-Handed Open Meeting - lots of pictures    Saturday 11th June 2005. We arrived at lunch time and found several visitors, some with their boats already rigged. The first race was at 1345 hours so there was plenty of time for more boats to turn up. The sun was shining and the wind was easterly force 3 gusting 4, ideal strength but we'd have preferred a westerly - later on we'd have been delighted for the wind to have stayed as it was. Snowhill Maiden was manoeuvring down the slipway on the winch ready for the incoming tide.

2005 Glasson Week - lots of pictures In the days before cheap air travel and holidays in almost guaranteed sunshine Glasson's sailors used to spend the Spring Bank Holiday week at the club in tents, camper vans and small cruisers, e.g. Lysanders, and there was racing and events every day with entertainment in the evenings provided by themselves. So that explains the 'Subject' and I hope you will forgive a bit of nostalgia.

2005 February Working Party - lots of pictures of Saturday only. The working party was over the weekend of 26th/27th February
