Today eight people plus Lesley and Maureen took part in the second Health Walk from the Barn, the third in the Park.  The walk was led by Lesley and Maureen brought up the rear.  Both Lesley and Maureen have been on a special course to train to be Helath Walk Leaders.

It was a lovely sunny day, a bit nippy but perfect for walking.  Lesley took us past Cuerden Hall, down to the bridge, along the cycle track, right over the new bridge, up to the viewing platform in the pinetum, around the walled garden and back to the Barn.  Everyone enjoyed the morning but a few of the walkers would have liked the walk to be slightly longer.  The wheelchair walkers, today's walk would have been ideal for them, had been whisked away by Sue Rider on a shopping trip.
