Well, the first Health Walk to be affected by rain!
Maureen led us off down Berkeley Drive and then into Cuerden Close on our way to the Cinder Path.

There were only five us - Maureen, the leader, Brian, myself and new walker Ian with Ruth the Back Marker.
The photo on the right is taken from the next wood looking into the Nature Reserve, old scramble track, where the rangers and volunteers were giving the sheep a pedicure.
We hardly noticed the rain, well apart from Brian who felt the cool raindrops on his exposed head.
We continued the walk up to the lake and through Dog Kennel Wood, Gravel Hole Wood back over the New Bridge and up through the Pinetum back to the Barn for refreshments.
