Seventeen this morning, back to our normal numbers for a Thursday! It was rather wet with occasional rain. Helen was leading and she promised something a little different.

Just past the Covert Pond Helen led us off to the river. Ransomes, one of several clumps along the river bank

The Dandelions are going to seed. May Blossom and the Rhododendrons are coming out

Over the Stone Bridge and making for Cock Cabin Pond, although we didn't know at the time.

Cock Cabin Pond, in Photo 17 you can just see the ripples made by a fish leaping.

Photo 20 looked like a waterfall to me at the time
but It's hard to imagine in the photograph. There are many Forget-me-nots to see, lovely colours.
