Helen led ten walkers off towards the Cinder Path.  We had two new walkers today, Ann and Arlene.  Several of our normal group were on a WI trip.

At the end of the Cinder Path we encountered a very muddy patch, between the two gates where the cows pass between pastures.  At this point Sue declined to cross the mud, light shoes and she was afraid of slipping, her eye is not completely right yet.  So Carmel accompanied Sue back along the Cinder Path, round the front of the Cuerden Hall and into the Pinetum where they sunbathed on the remembrance bench for a while.

Helen took us round Cock Cabin Pond,
