As I, Michael, left home the rain was torrential.  Would I be the only one to turn up?  I had to go because I was today's leader.

As we walked round the Lake the ducks came towards us, no doubt expecting food but, as usual, we had none.  Across the Lake was a young women and two children, we weren't the only ones braving the weather.  Actually Jim was out also with the candidates for the new ranger's job created by Phil leaving.

As we reached the kissing gate leading up the hill, the path was surrounded by cattle, we don't usually se them here.  The consensus was we would turn back and miss out the little walk up the hill.

Up into Dog Kennel Wood and across the Whittle-Le-Woods Women's Institute Bridge.

The Park was relatively empty of people but the weather was kind to us, the heavy showers occured when we were walking under the trees.
