Health Walk - Tuesday 18th November 2014

Seven walkers today.  It was a lovely autumn morning.

Michael took charge and we set off towards the Pinetum.

Our first view of the valley, by the time I'd got my camera working the light had changed ever so subtly and I'd lost the effect.  We pressed on across the Stone Bridge.

We climbed up to the Lake.  I guess the ducks were hoping for some food

We walked round the Lake and up into the field towards Hawks Clough and then into Green Wood and more steps - they are getting harder each time, old age age has stopped creeping up it's now accelerating fast.

Sandy is photographing sheep, Carol and Linda have left her to it.  This was our first walk through the field for some time, perhaps as far back as spring before the cows were released.

The first three photos are of Black Banks Wood trees as we descended to the Cycle Track. The holly is in Gravel Hole Wood.
