Health Walk - Tuesday 26th May 2015

A dry morning, but we were promised drizzle however we escaped again.  We had six walkers - Carmel, Helen, Irene T, Michael, Maureen and Sue.  

Michael decided we would go down Shady Lane and across the field to Town Brow.

At Town Brow we split into two, Sue not wanting to risk the Stepping Stones so Sue, Carmel and Helen walked to and then along the Cycle Track.

Michael, Irene and Maureen entered the field and crossed the stepping stones and followed the river

This looks like one of the more recent tree collapses.

As we emerged from the river walk we joined up again with the others

We crossed the Wooden Bridge, climbed up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum.

The glorious Rhododendron was obscured by some activities

As we arrived in the Barn Carole and Jacqueline were waiting for us.
