Health Walk - Tuesday 9th June 2015

A dry sunny morning, it clouded over towards the end of the walk.  We had seven walkers - Elizabeth H, Helen, Irene S, Michael, Mike, Sandy and Sue - Mike is Irene's husband, he is on holiday from work so he will be a rare walker.

Michael decided we would set off into the Pinetum.

Over the Wooden Bridge and we divided into two groups, Sue not wanting to do a long walk, with Sandy for company, left us to walk along the Cycle Track towards the Stone Bridge.

Irises, Red Campion and Tadpoles

We walked up into Gravel Hole Wood.

The Irises are out everywhere now, the Park changes every time we walk, these are alongside the Lake Dam.

We crossed the Wooden Bridge, climbed up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum.

My first Orchid this time alongside Cock Cabin Pond.  I've been looking out for them at the bottom of the Dam but they haven't appeared yet.

We arrived at the Barn Where Sandy and Sue were waiting for us with the refreshments laid out.
