Health Walk - Thursday 9th July

Cooler today but a lovely sunny morning, perfect for our walk.

We were all gathered ready to set off and Helen was asked to lead and she agreed willingly.

We had thirteen today.  Carmel, Dorothy, Gwen, Helen, Irene S, Joanne, Julie, Linda E, Linda P, Mary, Maureen, Michael and Sandy and of course Alison's dog Freddie.

Helen explained her proposals for the route and we all concurred.

I'm not going to describe the route today, hopefully you can figure it out for yourselves and if all else fails you can study the map at the end.

I thought they couldn't get through the gate but no they were waiting for the cows to pass.

At this point I started talking and forgot about taking photos.  As we arrived at the south east corner of the Lake Mary expressed a desire to cut the walk short.  After a discussion, Michael being firm on a longer walk, Mary, Dorothy and Gwen opted to go up into Dog Kennel Wood and back to the Barn - small green route then the same as the rest of us.

We walked on round the Lake and up into the field before returning down the field to Dog Kennel Wood and on into gravel Hole Wood.
