Photos by Michael - Please click on photos to see a larger one

Today we had seventeen walkers - Ann, Bernadette, Colin C, Colin D, David, Deborah, Frankie, Graham, Gwen, Holly, James, Linda E, Michael, Paul, Sandy, Suzie and Zandra.

Another fine sunny morning with a refreshing breeze - how the sun lifts our spirits

David was leading and we set off into the Pinetum.

Am I the only one who isn't keen on dogs?

We left Wilbrahams Wood and walked round to the sunny side of the Hall.

I took some hurried shots of the wild flowers as we walked along.   See the map for the positions.

Dandelions are also all over the Park and now the Lady's Smock has also burst into flower in the meadows.  Snapping this picture revealed bonuses of a bee and a butterfly.  Is the butterfly a female orange tip?

Today's walks

Sue leading Deborah and Holly are the green route and arrows which would be somewhat wordy to describe.  Deborah requested a walk without hills.

The dotted red lines are slower walkers making short cuts to catch up.
