Photos by Michael - Please click on photos to see a larger one

Today we had fifteen walkers - Ann, Carmel, Carole, David, Frankie, Gwen, Helen G, Jacqueline, Jennifer, Linda D, Linda E, Michael, Peter, Suzie and Zandra.

It was a pleasant walk on a lovely summer's morning.

Walking along the Dam we could see David B teaching the children all about the river.

Walking along the bottom of the Dam we caught up with Peter's Group who had turned left at the Wooden Bridge, walked along the river and up the slope to the Lake

Peter pointed out lots of wild Orchids.

We crossed the Stone Bridge where Peter led his walkers (just Suzie) up Snake Hill and back to the Barn.

David took us up Bikers Hill, avoiding Walkers Wood, and into Cock Cabin Wood.

There's a 'bloom' on the pond.  What is it?  Algal Plume?

Back to the Barn via the Cinder Path and James' Walk - I think some used Sue Ryder's Drive rather than the James Walk, which we cut short towards the end.
