Crossing the Stone Bridge we came across this lonely figure, Peter, he was resting while his charges walked round the Lake.  You can just see Suzie at the bottom of the steps waiting for Elizabeth and Karin who were engaged in conversation with an angler

Peter started the short walker with the main group but as they reached Sue Ryder's Drive they turned right and walked round the front of the Hall and along the path that led them to the main path down to the Stone Bridge.

At the Stone Bridge Peter said he needed to rest, Photo 18, while the others walked up the slope to the Lake, anticlockwise round the Lake and down the steps to the Picnic Area, Photo 20.

They then walked along the river to the Wooden Bridge and up to the Pinetum where the main group were catching them up.  As they entered the Pinetum Peter took them up the path on the right past the new building to see the new
