Today we had twenty walkers - Ann, Bernadette, Carmel, Colin C, Colin D, David, Elizabeth M, Graham, Helen, Irene T, James, Jennifer, John W, Linda E, Margaret W, Mary, Michael, Paul, Suzie and Zandra.

It was a dull morning but the rain held off.

Carmel was leading, David was back marker and Suzie led the short walk.  It was Carmel's first walk as leader.

We all set off into the Pinetum.

I nipped down the side path to get a photo of Carmel leading the walkers down the main path but I was thwarted

We continued down Cardiac Hill, over the Wooden Bridge and up into Gravel Hole Wood.  We crossed into Dog Kennel Wood leaving the wood to enter the Field.

We walked up past the Ponderosa and down into Green Wood up to the highest point of our walk

We continued down to the Stone Bridge and walked up Snake Hill back to the Barn for tea/coffee and biscuits.

Suzie's group walked round the sunny side of the Hall, not today, and down Snake Hill, crossing the Stone Bridge, along the bottom of the Dam and up to the Lake.

They walked round the Lake and up into Dog Kennel Wood, through Gravel Hole Wood and down to the Wooden Bridge.

Over the Wooden Bridge, up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and back to the Barn.

Everyone seemed to have enjoyed the walks.

Well done Carmel.

As we were all leaving to go our separate ways James appealed to us all to come earlier then we could start on time.  We've been setting off up to ten minutes late which is unfair on those who arrive early.
