A dull damp day warmer than of late with a little rain at times
Twenty walkers. Lawrence was leading, Frankie was back marker and Peter led the short walk, seven today
Accidents on the M6 made several late, Linda P gave up trying to get here.
Lawrence led off round the side of the Barn on to Sue Ryder Drive heading for the Cinder Path

Another tree cut down as we rounded the corner. Was it unsafe?
We walked into Cock Cabin Wood and round the pond.

All peaceful and serene on the Lake
We walked round the Lake, up into the Field, back down to Dog Kennel Wood and into Gravel Hole Wood.
Leaving Gravel Hole Wood we crossed the Wooden Bridge where the new building came in to view

Back to the Barn for refreshments where the short walkers were waiting for us. They had set off into the Sue Ryder complex and made their way down to the Stone Bridge and up into Dog Kennel Wood and Gravel Hole Wood. Leaving Gravel Hole Wood they walked down to the Covert Pond before returning over the Wooden Bridge and up through the Pinetum - green route
