Health Walk - Thursday 15th December 2016

Today we had nineteen walkers.
Overcast
Carmel was leading and Elizabeth was back marker. Peter led the short walk

The main group set off into the Pinetum and up into Gravel Hole Wood, here walking up the slope between Gravel Hole Wood and Black Banks Wood - keep off the Bluebells
Passing out of Dog Kennel Wood they walked through the kissing gate and up into the Field along to Hawks Clough, then up past the Ponderosa into Cam Lane

Dropping down into Green Wood, along the top and back down to Hawks Clough
Carmel led them along the Field

Walking round the Lake, down the steps to the Picnic area,

The short walkers set off down to the Stone Bridge and walked up into Dog Kennel Wood and made their way back up Cardiac hill and the Pinetum
Surprisingly, as they were on the same path through the woods but walking in opposite directions, they never saw each other. Carmel, the mountain goat, must have set off at a brisk pace but the short walkers had a delayed their start
