Health Walk - Tuesday 20th December 2016

A lovely crisp morning
Thirty-two walkers - a new record. Lawrence was leading, Elizabeth was back marker and Suzie led the short walk, four today
Lawrence led off down to the Stone Bridge

We walked along the bottom of the Dam and climbed the steps

up to the Lake. Walking round the Lake the Black Headed Gulls were cruising around all peaceful and serene then a dog leapt into the water.
We climbed up into the Field

walked up to and past the Ponderosa.
We walked along Cam Lane to the end and crossed Sheep Hill Lane, walking down the hill to Back Lane where we crossed back into the Park and walked along the Cycle Track and over the Wooden Bridge up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum.

Michael dropped behind to take some pictures from the top of the bank. Figures have appeared on the roof and fitting the shingles has started, doesn't look easy.

He walked up the path to the new building, the others are back in the Barn now enjoying their refreshments

Inside the building and there is the electrical supply all connected up. The building isn't wired yet but a double socket has been wired in to power the tools and lights, it's quite dark inside now that the main wall has been clad on the west side, below.

Back to the Barn where most walkers were enjoying their refreshments with a little Christmas cheer entering the conversations.
The short walkers had set off into the Pinetum via the path which Michael had climbed up and then made their way down Cardiac Hill and over the Wooden Bridge turning left to walk along the river. They walked up the slope to the Lake walking the opposite way round to the main walkers and down the steps. Along the bottom of the Dam over the Stone Bridge up into Walkers Wood and back down to Snake Hill which they climbed back to the Barn - green route
