Health Walk - Thursday 5th January 2017

Today we had thirty-one walkers there may have been more?
Another lovely crisp morning, very cold with frost on the ground, and loads of sunshine
John W was leading the main walk with James as back marker. Peter was leading the Elite walk.

John led the main walk round the sunny side of the Hall and down to the Stone Bridge.

They walked up to Lake by the long steps, round the Lake to the Kissing Gate

then up into the Field and towards Hawks Clough.
Then he led them up past the Ponderosa and

along Cam Lane crossing Sheep Hill Lane and descending and crossing again to Town Brow car park.
From there they followed the Cycle Track to the Wooden Bridge, climbed Cardiac Hill and walked up through the Pinetum back to the Barn
Peter led the 'Elite' walkers direct through the car park and past the new building

up to the Lake. The four Elite walkers, as they now wish to be called and Peter behind the camera
They left the Lake and walked down the slope to the river and

along the river to the Wooden Bridge.

From there they walked up Cardiac Hill ahead of the main group but they walked up the eastern edge past the new building back to the Barn.
