Another good morning but overcast - where was the promised sun?.  Thirty-eight walkers took part.

Carmel was leading, Michael S was back marker and Peter leading the Optional Walk Group, Suzie back marking, six today.

As we neared the Stone Bridge we saw the Optional walkers again, having descended Snake Hill they are walking up to the Lake passing the rangers building a new picnic table

We continued over the Stone Bridge and up Bikers Hill

carrying on into Cock Cabin Wood and round the Pond.  We turned west out of the wood and walked along the Cycle Track - are we heading for the Dark Side again?

We continued over the M6 Bridge and under the M65 bridge into the north section of the Park.

Spotted these Marsh Marigolds off the beaten track - a flower from Michael's happy childhood memories of his Grandad's farm - now Walton Summit Industrial Estate.

Today the Cinder Path must be dryish.  A last look at the Park before we disappear into more gloom - Cinder Path's not Michael's favourite walk.
