14th October - Day out at Little Moreton Hall & Biddulph Grange Gardens

We got away as planned but still were faced with almost an hour's delays on the M6, an accident at Junction 21A.

We arrived at the Hall just before noon.  The sun was shining but it was cold.

We checked in and wandered round the courtyard and the small gardens and moat waiting for the guided tour to start.

We came into the courtyard through the entrance, this is looking back the way we came in.
