Thanks to Margaret for providing the information for the Elite walk and Frankie for the main group.  Thanks to Jim S and Sheila T for the photographs

Sheila "An amazing mild and sunny day for February there were 44 walkers - 32 on the longer option and 12 on the shorter. Two new shorter walkers joined today as well."

Frankie led the main walk with Irene S back marking and Margaret W led the Elite walkers with Brian L back marking.

They set off up into the Car Park and entered the Pinetum at the wood carving in the holly tree, it's not a holly tree but it is sheathed in holly.

been seen along here recently, over the Wooden Bridge and up Cardiac Hill, into the Pinetum and back to refreshments in the Visitors Centre

The Elite group - Margaret: "We left the visitor centre up. To the barn, turned right after the barn, round the front of Cuerden Hall, to Snake Hill. Left at the bottom, through Walkers Wood, to Cock Cabin Wood, where we heard a Woodpecker, back down over the stone bridge and through Dog Kennel Wood and Gravel Hole Wood then to Cardiac Hill and back to the Visitors Centre for a well earned brew!!"
