Photos by Michael S & Sheila T - Please click on photos to see a larger one!

Today we had thirty-three walkers.

Sheila "A cooler day today but still fine for most of the walk - a little misty drizzle later in the walk.  33 Walkers today - 7 as visitors who I couldn't see on the system including 6 from a local WI.  Carmel led the main group with Elizabeth back marking and David H the shorter walk with Margaret back marking."

She took us out of the Pinetum and down Cardiac Hill, over the Wooden Bridge, up into Gravel Hole Wood, along into Dog Kennel Wood and out on to Cam Lane before passing through the Kissing Gate into the Field.

Continuing along Cam Lane to Hawks Clough where she dropped down over the footbridge and started to climb

The Elite walkers went towards the Barn and turned right after the Barn to the Cinder Path from there they went to the dark side of Park the going anticlockwise round the loop and back via the Cinder Path, round the front of Cuerden Hall and back to the Visitors Centre.
We welcomed Paul Foster back after his surgery and treatment and hope he is now able to join us on a regular basis.

Thanks Carmel and David H for our walks today

Today's walks (Red Main Group, Green Short Walk Option Group).
Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>.

Thanks to Sheila T for supplying the photo and to Margaret for explaining the Elite route.
