Sheila:     "Windy but beautiful sunny morning for our walks to day. James Mc led the main group of 33 people and Sheila backmarked - with one new walker, Geoff Hamilton and his wife Eleanor who thought she was on the system list but I couldn't find her.  Sharon Carroll's young son joined us and their dog.  The Elite group of 16 were led by Brian and backmarked by Maggie.  Two new walkers - Kirsty Georgina and Andrew were part of this group - we still need forms to be completed."

James took us across Sheep Hill Lane into Glenmore before returning to Sheep Hill and entering the Park again to walk along the river then back to the Cycle Path by the Covert Pond and over the Wooden Bridge up Cardiac Hill, into the Pinetum and back to the Visitors Centre.

The Elite group followed us all the way to just over the Stone Bridge where they left our path and walked round the Picnic Area, up the Long Steps to the Lake, round the Lake through the kissing Gate up into the Field and back down to the other Kissing Gate, up into Dog Kennel Wood, Gravel Hole Wood, over the Wooden Bridge, up Cardiac Hill into thePinetum and back to the Visitors Centre.  

Today's walks (Red Main Group, Green Short Walk Option Group).  
Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>.  similarly for the blue arrows
