Health Walk - Thursday 6th June 2019

Sheila:  "We were lucky with another sunny morning for our walk today - the longer one led by James and back marked by Carmel. We had a new walker on the longer walk today who has said she will come again. John B led our Elite walk and David back marked. We weren't joined by any dogs today."

The Elite walkers setting off on their walk closely following the main group -
John B: "7 walkers, JB leading, David, H back marker. Across direct to Monkey Puzzle, up Cardiac to fork left to steps, up to car park and Barclay Drive right around barn and Hall to follow drive to right onto Cinder Track. right onto cycle track, left into Cock Cabin Wood, left and left in Walkers Wood. Over Stone Bridge to ascend Cardiac Hill to Monkey Puzzle Tree then right to the Visitors Centre Café."

James ahead of the Elite walkers led the main group down Cardiac Hill, the elite walkers having left us at the monkey puzzle tree.

Over the Wooden Bridge, along the Cycle Path to Town Brow, crossed the road and walked up Sheep Hill

Leaving the pond we followed the path back on to Wood End Lane

down Blackthorn Drive on to Back Lane, down to Town Brow and over the road into the Park.  We soon left the Cycle Path to walk in the field alongside the river
