Health Walk - Tuesday 1st October

Sheila:     "Thirty one walkers braved a chilly but thankfully dry morning. Carmel led 24 longer walkers back marked by Frankie. We had two new walkers, plus Charlie a new canine friend and one old friend who returned to a warm welcome. John B led 7 Elite walkers and Brian back marked. Thanks to our leaders"

We climbed the long steps back up to Cam Lane, here resting, before we walked passed the Ponderosa to Hawks Clough, the Field, through the Kissing Gate, down the Slope, we crossed the Stone Bridge and climbed up Snake Hill back to the Visitors Centre

John B: "Tuesday’s Elite Walk 7 walkers, John B leading, Brian back marker. Up to Barclay Drive, right around the barn and Hall to regain Snake Hill. Down to Stone Bridge, up ramp to Dog Kennel Wood, right to Gravel Hole Wood, descend to main track, right then left up Cardiac Hill to right at the Many -eyed tree and back for coffee at the Visitors Centre."
