Down the Long Steps, round the Picnic area, over the Stone Bridge and back up Snake Hill to the Visitors Centre.

Zandra: "Elite walk - we went down Cardiac Hill, right at the bottom, and along the footpath. Then left up the path through the wood, then left and along the reservoir path. I had taken bird food, but the birds all stayed resolutely on the far side! Then down the steps, back over the stone bridge and turned right. Up the hill through the woods, and round the pond. Back down to the stone bridge and up along Snake Hill to the cafe. Lovely fresh morning, both dogs, George and Meg, behaved impeccably as usual. The Long Walkers nearly beat us back to the cafe, but we decided it would be undignified to actually run, but we upped our pace!."

Where there are green arrows on the red route it means the Elite walkers had followed the main >> or the main group had followed the Elite walkers >>.  similarly for the blue arrows
