Health Walk - Tuesday 4th February

Sheila T:   "Forty two walkers braved a chilly but thankfully dry morning - thirty long walkers led by James and back marked by Elizabeth.   Colin led the twelve Elite walkers back marked by John including one guest and Charlie our only canine friend.   Thanks to our leaders and back markers today."

James introduced himself "Good Morning Cupcakes
".  He went on to explain that the conditions underfoot were very wet and muddy but he would do his best to find a dry walk.

He set off down Snake Hill, across the Stone Bridge, round the Picnic Area and up the Long Steps to the Lake.

through the Kissing Gate and up the Steps into the Field, taking a breather before pressing on along Cam Lane to Hawks Clough.

From Hawks Clough we walked up passed the Ponderosa to the end of Cam Lane

John B: "Elite walk, Tuesday 4th February 2029, 12 walkers plus Charlie,lead by Colin, John B back marking. Around the old barn to Hall main drive, Cinder path to Cock Cabin and Walkers woods, keeping right at fork to sharp left over Stone bridge, up ramp to Dog Kennel and Gravel Hole Woods, down to ascend Cardiac hill chased by long walkers, to Many Eyed Tree, right to café
(Visitors Centre)"
