Sheila T:   "Twenty four walkers were led by Michael on an enjoyable walk on a chilly but lovely dry morning back marked by Jimmy. Frankie led and Irene back marked the eleven Elite walkers with two canine friend Charlie and Serge today. Many thanks to our leaders and back markers today. "

Michael introduced himself and Jimmy and set off up through the Car Park into Berkeley Drive, round the side of the Barn on to the Hall Drive walking down and entered the Cinder Path

climbed up the steps to Cam Lane and walked down through the other Kissing Gate and up into Dog Kennel Wood, through into Gravel Hole Wood, down to the Cycle Track again and walked along, back over the Stone Bridge climbing Snake Hill back to the Visitors Centre

Frankie & Irene S: Elite Walk: "We walked up past the barn then towards Cuerden Hall, down the lane but instead of turning right for the Cinder Path we turned left through the housing estate, which brought up out on the main entrance road, through the top carpark and past the Pinetum, down Cardiac Hill, turned left at the bottom then up to the lake. At the kissing gate some people asked if we could turn back so we turned round and walked up snake hill. and back. right to café/(Visitors Centre)"
