However as we set off into the Pinetum a Police Van turned up.  (Photos 3 & 4 are attempts to make a 16x9 photo out of Photo 2 but I didn't get them right or couldn't get them right)
Part way
down the hill Jimmy said "I was going to do the Bluebell Walk today" so we turned round, walked round the Barn and up into James' Walk.

Back on the Cycle Track, down Bikers Hill and over the Stone Bridge to walk

and more Bluebells.  The light variation, not the right word, was too great for the cell phone camera.  Photo 30 is a Photoshop
black and white version of Photo 29 to see if it looked better

Just about to drop down to the Lake. The 'purists' insist this is a reservoir but the definition of reservoir is:
"a large natural or artificial lake used as a source of water supply."

Photo 40                                                      Photo 41

It is not used as a source of water, it is purely a scenic feature.  Because of the Dam it is governed by reservoir regulations
for safety

We avoided the Lake, going down the Slope and over the Stone Bridge again to climb up Snake Hill
