Walk - Tuesday 26th May

All Health Walks have been cancelled but Jimmy and Michael turned up to walk.

It was a cloudy morning so only took a few photos.

We set off down Berkeley Drive, dodging through the buildings to reach the Hall Drive and James' Walk.  On James' Walk we noticed that logs or branches were placed across the path at regular intervals.  Also the undergrowth appeared to have been flattened.  Perhaps they want to keep us away from there too.

We came back out on to the Drive then the Cinder Path where

at the end of the Cinder Path we came across these two other walkers who we knew from walks past

Walking along the Cycle Path we noticed the wild roses were in full bloom

Entering Cock Cabin Wood, we walked round the Pond and back on to the Cycle Track to enter Walkers Wood coming out on to Bikers Hill to cross the Stone Bridge and followed Cam Lane, up the Slope then along the Lake shore, up the steps back up on to Cam Lane walking to Hawks Clough then going through the Kissing Gate and walking along the path along the edge of Green Wood, to pass

Cam Lane Cottage where it was obvious they didn't want us walking there.

We left Cam lane to enter the Cow filed but deviated from the main path to

walk along the other side of Cam Lane Cottage.  There were a couple of women and children going down the well worn path, they had allowed us to pass but they we coping well with the push chair which they had carried up the steps out of Green Wood!

Back to Hawks Clough and along Cam Lane in the opposite direction, down through the Kissing Gate and up into Dog Kennel Wood, through Gravel Hole Wood, on to the Cycle Track, over the Wooden Bridge, up Cardiac Hill into the Pinetum and back to the car.
